Outerwear looks you’ll love

Yesssss… it’s jacket season! I know… most of you probably just rolled your eyes or went “groan” over the thought of having to truck on with a jacket in tow. I get it. I don’t love the cold either, but I do love a new stylish piece of outerwear.

A great piece of outerwear is definitely a way to amp up your already chic outfit. From cute hats and toques, to a fabulously stylish blanket scarf, to “that” jacket that you absolutely needed; outerwear can be a girls best friend.
This season, we are seeing a LOT of outwear pieces, and a wide variety of what’s hot. Not straying too far from Fall and Winter seasons past, this season will carry some familiar pieces that have been given a fresh new look. Here are some of the hottest outerwear trends you’ll see hitting the runway and ‘realway’ this Fall:

A (quilted) puffer that doesn’t add the puff.
This season, you can be warm and cute. That said, you the ever classic puffer jacket doesn’t need to add a bunch of unnecessary puff; sleek and slimline or cropped puffers are on trend. And this seasons puffer has an added punch - it’s quilted. With a subtle pattern sewed into your puffer, you’ll be the bell of the Fall ball. And, adding a puffer to your wardrobe in a fun colour, like our Pink Puffer, is even better!

Vegan leather and suede toppers.
I can’t remember a season where the ever popular leather biker jacket and longer suede topper hasn’t been in. These jackets are pretty much reasonless, allowing you to add some added style to your wardrobe and not feel guilty investing in something that you’re going to donate next winter. And, with so many fabrics like microsuede and vegan leathers, you can do it animal friendly way! This season you’ll be seeing fun colours in leathers, from jackets to dress coats, and everything in between. If you’re going to pop on a piece this fall - leather rand suede like fabrics are where it’s at!

A seasonal in-“vest”-ment.
There wasn’t a runway in sight that didn’t feature some sort of vest this season. From leathers to knits, and everything in between; it’s clear vests are a hot investment this season. Whether you’re the layering gal who likes to pop a fun leather vest over her sweaters, card’s and plaid shirts - or you’re the type of gal taht likes to keep it simple with your vest as the main piece… it’s clear, this is your season. Personally, we love the layered look and incorporating different textures such as vegan leathers, plaid flannels and a knit blanket scarf in the mix.

Your favourite teddy coat, remixed.
Seriously… we’ve never been so happy to see so many teddy and sherpa jackets gracing the runways like we did this year! A Sadi & Sari customer favourite and best seller is our ever popular Teddy Jackets, but we were getting ready for an update. Well, bless our hearts! Did we not see the Teddy Jacket running front and centre down the catwalks, but this time in super fun colours and prints! We love this seasons’ hottest trend, plaid everything!, gracing the Teddy Jackets in our closet - so we made sure to bring those in! Our favourites; the classic beige, cinnamon, and new plaid prints in the white/black and burgundy mix.

Aztec is everything.
Oooh girl, we know you like a fresh take on an old classic! Especially when it’s rocking a classic 70s vibe like this seasons aztec print! From jackets to bags, you’re going to see this gorgeous print come in all shapes and sizes. You’ll also see it take shape in different colours; and we’re totally on board with it. Ever watch the super popular series, Yellowstone? Well, then you know that classic turquoise blue aztec pullover that Beth Dutton wore was a classic! So we’re curious, what aztec print will you be rocking?

While there are many more styles we’d love to talk about here, we’ll have to admit these pieces are at the very top of our list.
